Hey, some client friends asked about why we do Enhanced Brand Content, and what the benefits of EBC are. So I just decided to do a quick overview and explain how Enhanced Brand Content helps you convert shoppers into buyers and increase Amazon sales.


When shoppers land on your listing, your hope is that they will buy. But most shoppers go through a shopping experience much like they would in a retail store. They check your product out (look at your images) And then read some of the description (your copy) and then decide whether to buy or not. 


Same with your listing, they check out some of your images, they read some of your copy and then they either click your buy button, exit out, or scroll down within your listing. 


Once your visitor starts scrolling there is a very high likelihood (above 90%) that you’re going to lose that sale. 


Why?





Take a peek at what customers see when they start scrolling… there’s a bunch of cool stuff down there…


Tons of bright, fun distractions that are presented by Amazon as they try to reengage your customer to  leave your listing and shop elsewhere. 


But if you optimize your listing with Enhanced Brand Content, when shoppers also see something else when they scroll – a BIG HUGE HERO IMAGE of your product. 


And it will stop the scrolling and reengage your customer, giving you a second shot at a sale that was about to go bad. 


That is what I cover i this video. I break down what is inside EBC. I show you some good examples of high performing EBC. 


Some things you may notice in my examples:


    •    Lots of good images

    •    Bright colorful pictures

    •    Bold and emotional images

    •    Good Hero Shots of the product

    •    There are good visuals of USPs (such as showing connectivity between Bluetooth)


I go over each example showing how imagery is used to engage below-the-fold scrollers back into buying mode.
